Shade cloth has a range of different applications and one of them is to be used in the construction industry.
Our product, FenceWrap, comes in a range of different specifications and sizes and two of them include shade cloth.
Site mesh is classified by a percentage rating. This percentage rating refers to the amount of light that is allowed to pass through the fabric. To increase or decrease the light passing through the site mesh, you simply use more or less fabric in the weave and weave it tigher or more loose.
The two different types of unprinted shade cloth that we stock are what are classified as “30%” and “70%”. They are available in a range of different colors and can generally be supplied within a week. For printed site mesh, we have both “50%” and “70%” fabric. There is no need to have a 30% for printed cloth because it would simply not show the printing well enough.
Site mesh can be used to create privacy on a job site. You may not want people outside the site to see in as it could be a rather eye sore. There may so be restrictions in place by councils and governments that require sites to have site mesh installed to visual appearance reasons.
Additional to privacy, site mesh can be used a dust screen for the site. Generally a construction site can produce a lot of dust from wood and metal cutting, and it is best not to let this dust spread beyond the site.
This effect would be particularly pronounced if you were working on a site that was within a building like a shopping centre. They would be very restrictive to how you have to maintain your site, and one thing they would definitely request would be some site mesh.
If you want to go to the next level with your site, you need to consider that the shade cloth can be printed.
Printing the shade cloth will mean that you start to utilize the surface of the site mesh for an advertising space. The great thing about this is that the cloth already has to be there, and printing it only costs around $13 per square meter.
When you consider when this cost is compared to other advertising mediums, it is actually a very cost effective medium. And at the same time, the sites that are worked on, especially if in a high foot fall are or busy road, will receive a lot of views from people passing by.
