If you’re looking for somewhere to get your shade cloth printed you’ve arrived at the right place. Here at FenceWrap we are experts when it comes to printed shade cloth and we have a range of different options to suit all the different needs you may have.
Our range includes a selection of different fabrics which we can print on, along with a few different options for printing styles. We have a range like this because we understand that the same printed shade cloth is not suited to all applications, so we give you the choice.
When you see shade cloth printed, it can be printed in either a block print or a full print.
A block print is basically a print coverage under 50%, generally this means that when the shade cloth is printed, it will have a white background with repeating versions of the logo. We normally recommend that the logo is printed 12-14 times per 50 length as otherwise the logo can seem like it is too crowded and overwhelming. You can however have a colored background with a block print if only 50% of the fabric is printed (repeating blank sections to give a 50:50 ratio).
A shade cloth printed with a full print basically means the entire fabric is covered from top to bottom and left to right. This is the type of print that you would need to have if you want to have a background color printed, or if you wanted to cover the entire fabric with a photo image.
If you need to have shade cloth printed, it is generally suggested that you try to find a cloth that has a higher gsm rating or “block out”. On the market there are different versions of the shade cloth fabric being printed and these vary in their gsm and block out rating.
What the most comment grades of shade cloth printed are either 50% shade cloth or 70% shade cloth. This basically means a 50% cloth is less tightly woven and uses less material to make it. This in-turn means it is a more see-through fabric and allows more wind and light to pass through. However, if you are considering to have your shade cloth printed, you need to consider that a 50% roll means that you will have less surface area to print and this will result in a lower quality image being seen.
Regardless whatever your requirements are, we are available to discuss your fence wrap needs and we will give you honest and helpful advice.
