Printed shade cloth is a cost effective solution for site branding. With reasonable print quality, and a reasonable life span too, it's an ideal solution for one-off projects / sites where there is no expectation to reuse the fence wrap afterwards.
Printed shade cloth is commonly used on:
Scaffolding
Temporary fence
Greenfield sites
Construction sites
NOTE: If you're looking for a product that has a longer lifespan and crisper print impact, consider our other mesh options.
Printed Shade Cloth vs Banner Mesh
The base stock shade cloth is a more cost effective choice than the banner mesh.
The material itself is a woven HDPE mesh, if you were to imagine fishing line that is woven into a netting, and it is traditionally used on playgrounds and backyards to provide shade.
It provides excellent dust control and privacy, and that is the typical application of unprinted shade cloth, but we can apply your branding to the mesh to promote your site and project.
Left is printed shade cloth, right is printed banner mesh with the same deisng
The printed shade cloth however does not print to the same standard as the banner mesh, and therefore is only offered when a budget mesh is required.
This effectively comes down to the base stock itself being a round thread, rather than a flat thread, providing less surface area for the ink to bind to.
Lifespan
We generally put a lifespan of approximately one year on printed shade cloth.
This makes it ideal for single use applications and projects where you don't intend to pack it up after the project is complete and re-use it at the next site.
Available Sizing
The printed shade cloth only comes in 50m rolls and only in 50m heights. If you require something in 1.6m height - look at banner mesh.
The rolls are finished at the top and the bottom with button hole eyelets (woven into the material).
We do not cut the rolls, but you can cut them yourself on site but be aware that over time the material might fray slightly.
