Construction, building and renovation sites often require something to block them off from the public. Whether it be to protect it from thieves, for occupational health and safety or to keep the works confidential. FenceWrap not only offers plain solutions but we can print the fabric as well. So you can make your purchase a priceless advertising investment.
Here at FenceWrap, we offer building wrap in the following fabrics; shade cloth, polyester mesh, PVC mesh and 100% PVC. When it comes to choosing what building wrap is best for you, there are a few things that need to be considered. Things such as budget, length of use, location of use, printing required and block out required should all be assessed before making the final decision as to what fabric is best.
If on a smaller building wrap budget, the shade cloth is our most cost effective option. Shade cloth is a popular fabric often seen in parks, gardens, schools, nurseries and residential properties. It is durable and easy to use. Polyester mesh is also a cost effective option as well as producing a great print quality and being light and easy to use. The PVC options are the most expensive, they are the best of the best. They are very heavy duty and produce photo quality printing.
The shade cloth, although still a good print, is not the best for detailed images. It is fine for simple logos of only a few colours. If you are looking to print a vibrant, detailed image on your building wrap then you are best going for the PVC or polyester mesh. We can print absolutely anything you want.
Polyester mesh provides a great print and is still cost effective but does not have as great a life span as the other fabrics. If your building wrap is a permanent fixture or is harsh sun, I’d highly recommend opting for the PVC.
The polyester mesh will last a few consecutive months outdoors but the UV light will eventually wear the fabric and printing down. It is best used in sheltered areas.
Some construction sites require a full block out around their perimeter. Whether it’s to block the view of the public, prevent drafts and pollutions from entering or because an extremely detailed photo is being printed, the 100% PVC is the fabric that should be used. The other fabrics are all ‘mesh’. The shade cloth, polyester and PVC mesh all have little holes throughout to allow for breeze to pass through, lightening the wind load and not completely blocking the light coming through.
