Crowd Control Barrier Mesh Signs

We make all types of custom mesh signs, and applications include use on Crowd Control Barriers (also known as CCB's)

There are a variety of different types of CCB slips that we can make, but common approaches are either mesh signs made from our PrintMax banner mesh, or full cover slips that are made from our Fabric Mesh.

What is really comes down to is how you want the final mesh sign to look like, and whether you are interested in single sided or double sided printing. Another consideration is what your expected life span is, with the PVC mesh lasting a lot longer than the fabric mesh.

Recommended Applications

Crowd control barriers are commonly used at large events and gatherings to funnel people in a certain direction.

This makes it an ideal advertising or promotional location to use mesh signs are they are very high impact and close to the people, so the message is very well communicated.

Scenarios would include:

Sporting events
Outdoor festivals and gatherings
Ticketing booths where queues form

Additional to this, the mesh signs also help create a more professional appearance to any queue or location where you need to move people in a specific manner.

Print Options

Our CCB slip mesh signs have complete freedom as to what can be printed.

The same as you have a small printer at home or in the office that prints on paper, we have the same thing but on an industrial grand scale.

Effectively the material goes in, and comes out with anything you want printed - to a photo-like standard.

When you couple some CCB slips with some fence wrap rolls to cover any temporary fencing, it really produces an extremely professional looking site or event.

Lifespan

The lifespan of the CCB slip mesh signs will depend on how often you use them.

The more CCB mesh signs are outdoors and are in direct UV light, their lifespan will diminish.

However, in saying that, any CCB slip made from PrintMax has an expected lifespan of 2-3 years if used outdoors permanently in a construction environment. So as long as they're well cared for, lifespans of many years wouldn't be out of the question.

However, as the fabric mesh CCB slips are printed with a different method, their outdoor durability is less than those printed on the PVC banner mesh.

We would say their durability is around 20-30 full day events in direct UV. However, that does depend on where in Australia you are with UV in Darwin being much stronger than say, Hobart.

Available Sizing

Our CCB mesh signs are made to fit standard crowd control barriers.

PVC Mesh signs will be finished on all sides with edging, and has eyelets right around to help you attach to to your CCB.

Fabric mesh CCB signs will be "slip on", like a sock over the top, and will secure around the fence with either velcro or ties - depending on what is best for your application.

Custom Sizes

If you're not just after some CCB slips but also need some custom signs to go with your event, we can make our EzyPanels banner mesh signs in any custom size you need to complement the CCB slips.

This is not a challenge and we can facilitate any size you require. In fact, we've completed projects as large as 30m x 30m for mining companies, so don't hesitate to inquire.

How does it take to manufacture CCB mesh signs?

Our standard production time is quoted at 3-5 business days. However, we do receive large orders regularly and our production queue is first come, first serve.
